MazourJames "Jim' Mazour, James of Sutton; three 52, of Sutton, died Saturday, September 29, 2001 at his home. Mr. Mazour was born July 5, 1949, in Hastings to Ervin and Mary Erma (Gilsdorf) Mazour. He was raised in Lawrence until his family moved to Wood river. He attended public schoo there and graduated from Wood river High School in 1967. He attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, where he received a degree in agricultural economics. After graduating from college, Mr. Mazour worked at banks in Grand Island; St. Edward; Red Oak, Iowa; North Platte and in Sutton, where he worked at the Sutton State Bank and then the City State Bank,. He was the president of City State Bank. He married Susan E. Jensen on July 28, 1995, in Sutton. Mr. Mazour was a member of the Sutton School Board, the Housing Authority and the Commercial Club. He was also a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. |
