Howard W. Lowell
Howard W. Lowell was born January 19, 1913,on a farm near Prosser, Nebraska, the son of Frank and Laura Fairbanks Lowell. He attended District #49 and Rosedale High School.
On March 12, 1932 he married Frances McKenna. They resided in Hastings for the next ten years where he was employed as a truck driver by the Cushing Grocery Company. In 1942 they moved to a farm north of Hastings, Nebraska and a year later to a farm near Wood River. He continued farming in this area for some 25 years when forced to retire due to ill health.
The Lowell's had four children: Mary who died in 1954, Karen Keezer, Paul Lowell and Pamela Dubbs. Howard died May 25, 1975.
